We moved into a new house this summer and with a new house came a shiny new school room. I love this school room so much. The storage alone was what made me the happiest about the room.
Our new house has three bedrooms and they are huge rooms. We decided to have the boys all sleep in one of the rooms together and we would make the 3rd bedroom into the schoolroom and it has been working out great.
This view of the room shows one of the small bookshelves in the room. This is where I keep all of our subject read alouds or reference books. The back wall is 3 sliding doors and it is where I keep all of our school supplies and extra curriculum. I love this part of the room. It makes the room look so much cleaner. On the siding doors we have our maps, pocket charts with the daily schedule, and our "We Choose Virtues" cards. The doorway in the back left hand corner leads right into the bathroom. This was also an added bonus for this room.
On the front left hand side is my command center. My desk, printer, and book shelf keep me organized during the week. This book shelf has the current curriculum that we are using. The back left hand corner is Greyson's desk. And on the right side is Lincoln's desk and Britton's table.
That's our school room. I love it and it works much better than the room at our last house. Now, to keep it this organized!
Here is our school room from the old house. What a difference!
